Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha wow in this exclusive still from their upcoming 3-D sci-fi film Joker, directed by Shirish Kunder. The still made available exclusively to Sawfnews.com exudes warmth and joy that immediately enlivens the spirit.
The entire cast and crew of the film is back on set for the second schedule of the film after a break of two months. The 10 day schedule will last through May 26.
Shirish tells Sawfnews.com that he is lensing the film in a fantasy forest created in Film City, Mumbai. The set has cost the producers a whopping Rs 3crores.
"We'll be canning 20 minutes of the film in this schedule," says Shirish.
Most of the shoot will be during nights.
"From today, we are shooting all nights till the 26th of this month." Shirish tweeted on day two of the shoot.
Sonakshi shared her excitement over getting back with team Joker over Twitter:
"Joker second schedule starts tomorrow! Can't wait to get back to the madness. Even if the calltime is 6 am :p" she tweeted on May 16 late night.
And hours later she tweeted:
"2 hours into the shoot and already can't control the laughter!"
The film is being co-produced by Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan and her helmer husband Kunder. It additionally stars Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba, Javed Jafferi, Alexx ONell, Vindu Dara Singh, Asrani and Sonal Chauhan.
The first schedule of Joker began on Valentine's Day in Chandigarh and wrapped on March 12. During the 27 day shoot Kunder canned 40% of the film.
Joker is due for release on December 25.
